Our Preschool Program

Our Preschool classes prepare children socially and academically by using a play-based emergent and integrated curriculum inspired by the Reggio Emila approach to early childhood education.

  • Yoga, Tae Kwon Do, Cooking and Gardening are integrated into our program at no extra cost to you.
  • Centers based classrooms include: math/manipulatives, science, language arts,, dramatic play, construction/blocks, art, social sciences, music and more.
  • Outdoor classroom includes gross motor, gymnastics, reading nook, painting, sensory and water tables.

Children are enrolled in four classes by their age as of September 1st of the current year. Our school years runs consecutively with the same start, end and holiday dates as Tustin Unified School District.

Parent and Me - 18 to 30 months
One or two weekday mornings from 9:30am - 11:00am. A guardian must attend with the child. Potty training is not a requirement. Children enrolled in parent and me receive priority registration for entry to preschool.

The Seeds - usually 2 1/2 to young 3 year olds
Our youngest children, the Seeds, are in classroom 4. Children must be 2 and 1/2 years old and potty trained, wearing underwear and able to attend to their own toileting needs. Generally the Seeds are 2 1/2 to young 3 year olds.

The Sprouts - usually older 3's and young 4 year olds
Our 2nd oldest students are the Sprouts in room 3. Some of these children may leave for Transitional Kindergarten at the end of the year; but most will be stay here one more year.

The Sycamores - usually the "middle range" 4 year olds
The Sycamore's in classroom 2 are the 3rd oldest children at our school. These children will be going to Kindergarten the following year.

The Sunflowers - usually the oldest 4 and 5 year olds
Our Sunflower's in classroom 1 are the oldest children at our school. These children will be leaving the school for Kindergarten the following year.

Summer Camp

During our summer break our stellar Summer Camp staff hosts a fun-filled program::
